Whale Meat

There is supposed to be some big protest against that Sushi place that is selling whale meat in Santa Monica.
I watched a series last weekend on the “Pirate of the Sea – Paul Watson from the Sea Shepherd” and man, was that brutal.
Hoping that they close that place down for good.
People like the owners of the HUMP are the people who you wish cancer on. $600 plate of whale sushi will not help protect these animals from the slaying.

So what’s the difference between eating whale, fish, cow and/or pig? Once you’ve eaten meat, you’re kinda on a bit of a slippery slope.
Yeah, I agree on that point of view, but there are a couple of things that are different with whale meat.
People kill them only for consumption of a small part of the animal, its to wasteful, the killing method is to brutal (whales are supposed to be highly evolved animals) and there is an international document that prohibits it.
Now, if you watch Food, inc (which I do not have the guts to do) I am sure I will become a vegetarian.
Its kinda fucked up everywhere, but the fact that the whales are smart animals makes it a bit worse than cows and pigs, plus they are on the list of animals in extinction.
Don’t know man, i think these whalers are a bunch of fucking idiots. Same with the people that club baby seals. I know they all need work, but damn…. try something else.
I could go on and on, but hopefully we found some common ground here.
