Time Bikes

Last week I was asked to volunteer time to help out some sort of bike test ride.
I show up after my ride and I found out that the West Coast TIME rep was having a demo day at the shop. I had heard if him and all I have heard of time bikes has been very good.
As volunteers we were supposed to help out people get their shit together (pedals, pump tires, etc, etc). Well, I got there at 2pm and it was slow – 2 people showed up, which according to the rep, was a pretty good number since they had 10 serious people test the bikes in the AM.
So with the spare time we get talking and we chat for about an hour and he explained to me pretty much anything TIME. I gotta say that these bikes are no joke. I can appreciate the cost of the bike. It is amazing what a little bit of education can do. If I had the scratch and did not have to race the bike i would for sure get a nice TIME frame. Its too bad I never got to ride one, not sure why it never happened, BUT, from a building and craftsmanship point, these bike are superiorly built.
Maybe when I am old and have some money laying around and I am still interested in riding, I’ll get one.
