On a side note, I wanted to thank everyone that reads this site.
It started as a personal record keeping and the only reason it went online was because I was playing with WordPress, which is pretty amazing.
Next month (July), it will be 1 year that I have started to keep track of the people that read it – keep track is a bad word, but I kept the analytics – and the numbers are pretty amazing.
I have never advertised or mentioned the URL to anyone and this basically got to people’ ears by word of mouth. I am sure that at one point I said something bad or good about you. Nothing personal, just my point of view and how I saw things unfold. I am a pretty no-nonsense guy but I am human, so i do make mistakes. Some people stuck with it because they like the reading, others just read it because they want to make sure their name doe snot get dragged through the mud – which I think is pretty funny.
In the last year, readership has grown 400% and i hope that this growth continues. I would love to offer something more and it might happen in the near future. We shall see.
For now I just want to thank every one.
BTW, my mom is visiting and I would really like to win a race while she is here. So if everyone could make that happen that would be cool. Maybe a massive lead-out, don’t know. I am sure I can force some guys to do this for me in exchange for:
1- a clean slate here at wheelsuckers.com
2- lifetime motorpacing
3- lifetime domestique services
I am joking, but just make sure I don’t crash while she is here. She is an old lady and already does not like that I race a bicycle. It’s OK to pound me to the ground a bit more.
