San Marcos

The plan was to ride for Nate. He was feeling really good and had trained hard for this race.
I chose to get warmed up by riding to San Marcos. its was a nice 40 mile warm-up ride. I went pretty easy and that almost cost me race. I left my place at 9am and got there with 20 minutes to spare… what timing
I was ready though. Race starts and I get to the front to check out the course. I am not sure, but someone told me that it was easy to sit in. After a couple of digs I was feeling pretty shitty and ALMOST got dropped half way through.
Recovered and seeing that I was getting roasted as the laps went by I decided to take a couple of people out with me. My left leg was cramping bad (side effects from crashing and miss-alignment). Took a pull and then dropped out.
Was a little disappointed, but thats what happens when I race courses with little hills… oh well… onto loosing more weight, which BTW is getting there. This weekend I clocked 178.4
