Ontario #4

Decided to go race, season is almost over, 1 or 2 races left and I figured I would ride it out till the end. I am just starting to feel the drives, the motivation to drive far is starting to fade away, racing motivation is still there.

Shane and I packed in my car (I need a new car, too small) and headed north. 95 degree expected temperatures, but thats OK with me, since I am fat i can deal with the heat a bit better.

Race starts and it is mellow, couple guys go up the road, they come back, I go solo I get reeled in pretty quickly, its hot and recovery is dificult. Shane goes up the road with 3 or 4 other guys, they stay away for 6 or 7 laps, cant remember, they get pulled back, but not bfore justin and I do some serious blocking. Everyone chases, the field is safe (what a relief!!!!! I wonder where they all were or went?).

Shane gets back with 4 laps to go and then the cards are up. I tell him to sit in. 3 to go people start flying up to the front, mini attacks, they get reeled back in, 2 to go another group goes, 1 to go a counter move goes and they get a good gap. With 1 lap to go I get to the front and pull the group, trying to keep it strung out. Mitch, Justin, Shane are all behind me, perfect. The group of 3 is still of the front, I pull off with 1 turn to go, Mitch pulls for another 200 meters, Justin pulls another 200 and Shane is set. He sprints for 4th, which I was pretty happy about, I was worried he would not have it in him because he was in the break for a while.

It was an uneventfull race as far as crashing goes, but there was some good chasing and some hard work being done. It was a fun race, finally….We got some out of it and I got some props for the lead out, which I do appreciate because my name has not been on a board the whole year.

I did not spot any wheelsuckers either, so A+ ;-) <—– I’m a douche
