In fact, I would say it was the most "professional" Cat 3 race that I have been in (I know it's an oxymoron). It was fast, realtively strung out, attacks and counters throughout and a lot of postering. I'm with Ted....we actually have some serious teams this year and I think the level of racing is heading in a positive direction. I just hope we get a season in before all of the serious racers Cat up. Personally, I thought it was a really good race. As for missing "the move", yup, I must have missed it, maybe I was asleep (seriously).....I forgot that in Cat 3 races you never ever try to work to bring something back, you just bridge or sit in, their isn't enough brain power in the group to actually meter an effort and work together to ride faster. I have to apologize for the Banning's comment above. Here I was running the mouth off to Jan, trying to get on his team's good side ;) I have to give Banning's big props for the way the handled the VOS crit. Tony rode like a mad man finishing in the top 4 or 5 of what has been the most difficult crit this year. A solid finish and a solid effort at that race from TT to the finish. I am actually really stoked that there are actually some solid squads in the 3s this year, Bannings, UCC, Liquid, NOW, Possabilities, etc. It should be fun duking it out with you guys all year.
