Ontario #2

Actually a great day on the bike, but the same shit again. No results. Nonetheless it was worth the trip. Just and I worked somewhat well and I definately cut my work cut out.

First race was somewhat hard and with the small field I thought that a break would go so we instigated maybe 10 of them (between Just and I and the SC Velo guys). They rode VERY aggresive and I appreciate that. They were definately there to ride circles and suck wheel like the rest of the guys. There were also some other dudes that put in some really good efforts and tried to make it happen. Actually this race was a bit more active than the races I have been in lately. I would say that only half the field sat in and did SHIT.

No crashes and that is always a plus.

Second race was the weirdest race I have been in. It was slow for a pro/1/2/3. Just and I were sitting in and actually getting some wind and we made it back into the pack. In a normal day this would be murder. You get soem wind and them KABOOM, the filed passes you with fury and then the elastic snaps….DONE

I actually went to the fornt a couple of times, most of them to block. Nothing got away, which was odd. I finished and again was pretty happy with the result…..excellent workout.

I checked my GARMIN and I counted 52 laps of racing!!!! 10 more or so for warm-up and man, was that a long day….a million circles in Ontario.
