No racing

Although I am not a dad yet, I decided to celebrate and decided to not race. I hate that course, that death corner scares tha crap out of me.
Anyways, Saturday did swamis and felt pretty good – as in I finished with the main group….. Crying diarrhea but I made. Weighed myself when I got home: 180.2
So close…. Hoping to break 180 in 2 weeks
Today I had a ton of work to do…. Work work and work around the house so decided to do my own thing. I know I said I would ride east county with the greenies, but I could not afford to get back at 3, so I went to Torrey pines an did repeats.
7.5 of them in 62 minutes. All climbs in under 6 minutes. I know zohan breaks 5, I felt good about these though.
This is another big week of training. Not doing manhattan beach, another giant wreck waiting to happen… Happens EVERY year

San Pedro was a good race to miss. Crashes in most categories on “Death corner”. The course would be great if it didnt have that corner. In my race it was almost a sprint to get to the corner in the top 10 each lap
I am glad that I did not go then. That is just not another corner that you crash in, you can hurt yourself pretty bad too.
I would also go ahead and advise against Manhattan Beach. Unless you think you can TT in front of the pack for however long your race is, go ahead and skip it… save yourself the grief of re-growing skin and buying new shit for your bike
