Murrieta OBS.
Posted on March 16, 2009
It was petty sad to see the Tour de France winner not win the Tour de Murrieta… boy, what a drop.
Also, at the end of our race we had a huge crash and I guess the 35+ guys were also finishing and I got this histerical screaming yenta yap at my ear while I was trying to get around the crash and sprint myself. I just told him to fuck off… and next thing I know he finished 12 feet ahead of me.. for what? all that screaming really helped. DOUCHE

you’re a fucking douche
you weren’t even there but you still have something to say. Stop reading…. hehehehhe.. DOUCHE
“Yenta yap.” That’s good.
yeah, good, and douchey
You’re in Jersey. You were not there.
Anyways, you can write what you want, it will be published.
I was there on Sunday, flatted out of the 35+ and soft peddled until they came around again. From the back I could see the 35+ and the 3′s were on a collision course to merge through the last few turns. If the 3′s did not go down in front of us there would be some major confusion going on in the sprint. Thanks to those who fell over and took one for the officials.
The best part was the 3s on the ground moaning and groaning like they were dying… as the 35+ riders rounded the corner, the riders on the ground noticed they were NOT slowing down. Suddenly, as if by magic, they were healed, got their asses up off the ground and out of the road. Lesson: if you’re not hurt, don’t lay on the road.
On another note, I think it was pretty cool that Floyd made it out. I’m sure he didn’t have to. I was actually shocked that he was 4th. It was a sprint finish and we know that sprinters don’t take GC at TDF. Just another perspective.
not to say that this is the general rule, but what I have observed, usually the person that causes the crash is the last one to stand up – unless you are really out of it…
I have seen this happen time after time and it makes sense as you would not like to get blamed for the crash, so you fake a pretty good injury and nobody will berate you as you are down.
Can’t fool me.
And to really put it out there, i am going to say that a lot of the people that (NOT ALL) went down were the unsafe riders. I know, it sucks to feel this way, but the only way to learn the lesson is to eat shit real good, that way you THINK about your next move before acting on it and taking other riders out.
Can you tell, no sympathy from me.
