Forgot to mention

Almost forgot to mention that yesterday before my ride I had to make an emergency purchase at NYTRO.

I indulged myself, bought the best of the best. I rarely treat myself to things like this, but since the occasion demanded, I decided to go all out and plunk down TEN Efen dollars on a tube.

Thats right! It is a beautiful hand made in Germany, Continental, long-stemmed inner tube.

TEN FUCKING DOLLARS!!!!

I’ll tell yah, last time I buy something at NYTRO. Not to call them out on it, but that is a rip-off. I really had to buy one cause I needed one for the ride, otherwise, NEVER.

People, this non-sense needs to end. Its an inner tube for a bicycle.

Anyways, thats the rant for this week.

    And I thought I was pissed when I had to buy a tube at UCC a year ago and it was $7.99!!

    I think it was because it was the same brand tube Bettini used to win the WC! IF….. he ever did race on clinchers that is..

    you better pay taxes on it, cause $7.99 is a weird number…. Mine was $10 out the door… tube + TAX
