Fiesta Island + Ontario

Fiesta Island was weird last night. Some douche (joking) showed up on a TT rig… cough… Michael Williams… cough… and absolutely created havoc in the group. He was going soooo hard, the field was single file in the first lap.
I am guessing he is ready for state’ championships. I have been riding the TT bike, made some adjustments and I have a good feeling about the ride. More on that later.
Back to Fiesta. So after another lap of craziness, SOMEONE (who shall remain anonymous) created a gap. That was it. Couple of cars in the way and there they went… a group of 10 in the front, followed by a group of 20, followed by the rest of us suckas. Even Karl got caught in our slow group. He sits on for a couple of laps and then puts the hammer down. Well, he missed out on the split, tried to solo for 2.5 laps, but got caught by us. He helped by putting down some huge pulls, but it did not help.
Iggy won the overall sprint and I, yes “I” won the field sprint for 20th

This weekend should be interesting. The heat will be a factor and with that new pavement that they have there on the short course guys will be baking themselves. aahhhh, I can’t wait. I love the heat. Predictions are in the 100 degree range, I am PRAYING for 105-110, that would be ideal.
