DeWalt 3rd Ave GP

Just signed up. I am racing because it is 5 min away from my house.
Small fields so far, but lets see, still have 5 more days left. As of now, guaranteed top-10.
BUT, the real reason I am writing about this race is to once again bring to everyone’ attention ACTIVE.com’ fees. I paid $3 for a $17 race. Now that is just plain robbery. I think that if I called 911 they would come out and take a report on this. C’mon guys, get your shit together, I know business is good and all, but if you are going to keep charging this much you will eventually get hit. Its just ridiculous.

And its the WORST goddamn website I have ever been to.
you know Mitch, the big guy there rides swamis, so we could *potentially* nag him personally. But I am not sure how PC that would be…
I sway we just shame them on this site. A friend of mine started that comany with a few associates and he sold it for a fortune and moved on to start another extremely lucrative Bio/Pharma subcontracting company. I am guessing that what it has turned into today is EXACTLY what he envisioned when he started it. We really need to come up with a cycling specific website for registration. Why can’t SCNCA have a reg page and we can pay them the $3 bucks to support junior cycling or just give it to Mitch for Jorge. Let’s start to boycott Active.
