I am gonna go ahead and be the first one to point out the obvious
150 riders in the CAT 4 and CAT 3 fields will most likely result in DEATH
There you go. Now people that have raced that race KNOW that this number is absolutely insane and I am not sure who approved this but it will most likely backfire. 100 is too much.
The only thing I can think of to make sure it stays in control is that they will enforce the pulling out of riders that get dropped, so if you plan to race, plan to stay in line for the line-up and plan to fight for every position, every corner and maybe get pulled out.
