Conquer the Canyons – Day 1

TT: I looked like a douche bag in my full TT gear, eventhough it was an uphill TT. Well, not so much. I wish I had dished the disc wheel, but if I was going to do that TT again it would have been on lightweight wheels, thats for sure. Winner put 2:30 minutes on me. Sand baggers!!!!
CR: I thought it was fast….very fast. Maybe I did not recover form the TT, but I could not do shit all day and felt like a douche bag AGAIN. I tried to move Shane up but then I was caught in no mans land on the front and with that stupid corner coming up I had to make it through by myself or else I would have caused a wreck of some sorts. Well I was cooked and after that effort I was practically done. Came in second to last place, what a f&*^%) disaster….BTW, average speed was 27mph.
Nothing unusual to report here. I think people took their share fo pulls. Of course there were your usual suspects, the guys that will NEVER hot the wind. Its easy to spot them,most of them “read”, most of them do well in the results page. It might be smart racing, it might be just wheelsucking…doesn’t matter….its over
