Cold weather, Wattage, ramblings
Posted on December 19, 2008
Today I went on a ride. It was cold… it was very cold. Now, I did not see freezing temperatures, but the air was just cold… that very crisp air just cuts through your skin. Pretty unreal for San Diego.
Woke up too early… it sucked… I figured I probably rode longer than I actually slept last night.
I just did an easy coast ride. I had forgotten my pedals up in Carlsbad, so I rode over there to pick them up. 4 hours or a bit under… 70 or so miles. On the way back I decided to do a couple of dashes and go the power meter to read a tad under 1500 watts. I know its not that great considering my weight, but I have gone closer to 1700 w and a few LBs lighter.
Anyways, i am sitting here at work trying to figure out how to make something work… I know.. too generic. I am trying to troubleshot a site that will sell videos. Been at it for 4 hours. Nothing has come to my head YET!

pushing 1500 watts is no mean feat my friend – congratulate yourself because many people never get near that kind of power output!
I too have been suffering from cold weather (here in the UK). Roll on spring!
Happy riding
