CBR finale

I will start with the excuses:
I threw my back out trying to keep up with Brett Clare on fiesta island’s team in training group ride. Thats right, me on my TT rig, him on his regular road bike and this fool was DRILLING it…holy shit, that hurt. I went cold turkey to hammering 53×11 and my back gave way…I know, its stupid, but now I am paying for it…and yes, it is chronic pain, not “oh my muscles hurt”, no, it’s nerve…it sucks…
Ok, back to the race. Smallish field and we had 4 guys, which was nice. Since my back was out I decided that I would not do anything and wait for a late break. Well, I kinda got caught in some move and more and more guys bridged and that was the break. Same story as always, worked too hard, then with my back…i AGAIN fell out og the break…
When I got back to the group Shane is a bit mad, but hopefully he understands that I was in a bit of pain 
so he sits in a bit more, I recoup….the break gets a bit closer and he is off. Shane attacks on the hill and he reaches the break within 3/4 laps. Now it was our job to block and we did a pretty good job of that, might I say.
With the remaining laps I wanted to make sure that one of us would grab the last spot so I positioned myself in the fornt and lead out the group with 1.5 laps to go. It worked cause Justin who was on my wheel ended up grabbing 9th. Shane got 4th (worked too hard) and I got …..nothing….
Overall it was a safe race. What I don’t understand are the mexican juniors in the clown outfits….they actually chased each other…I am not sure if they wanted to ALL get in the break or if they were ordered to attack constantly, not sure, but they were on the gas the whole race. BTW, I like the outfits and I must say that I was a little bit worried becasue there were maybe 8 of them.
Last race in the US…season is over for me…
I will be posting, but of course no more racing crap.
Let the offseason begin, even out the tan, gaing (loose) weight…take care of all that other stuff…

I can’t….weekend of 17 will be on east coast, weekend of the 26 will be out of the country.

I was wondering who the Dominos pink and green clowns were, they were sketchy. Here’s a wheel sucker. . . The guy (Vegas Velo?) that followed me as I tried to bridge the gap to the break in CAT 3. He had a buddy in the break and said so when I signalled for him to take a pull. Needless to say, he never came around. Killed me and then the group never worked to catch.
