Its 9:15 and I think I am done, nothing more to learn. Tomorrow go over some math formulas for last minute osmosis learning and thats it!

Wish me luck.

Riding only after the test. Full day tomorrow… 4 hours of test, 4 hours of riding.

It has finally died. It was quick and abrupt. Even after spending $1500 on it just last week it still would not have the will power to stay with me. I will take it of the street and hold onto it for a bit, but chances are it will be sent to a better home in the near future.

I am really pissed off. First my bike, thankfully I had warranty, now my car and then the scooter… WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will from this day live like a hippie and see how long that will last. So if you are going to a race and I need a lift, please let me know, otherwise I will have to do what the pros did in the old day, ride to the race, race the race and then ride back… ontario all of the sudden will be my A event.

Long time ago I wrote about a crash I saw on the 5.

Well, I got a call from the DA and I might have to be a witness to the case when it goes to court. They told me nothing about what happened, but I can guess that it is pretty serious. I honestly thought that someone had died that day, but luckily everyone is still alive.

As far as my week goes, I am getting another huge one. Not sure where the time is coming from, but so far I have 12 hours in, with about 3 to go later in the afternoon. I might break the 20 hour barrier this week, which is nice since last week I got close to 19.

I do have to say that not having a regular bike and being forced to ride the TT bike the whole time might actually be a blessing in disguise. Hoping to get some rest before the Omnium.

Also, at the end of our race we had a huge crash and I guess the 35+ guys were also finishing and I got this histerical screaming yenta yap at my ear while I was trying to get around the crash and sprint myself. I just told him to fuck off… and next thing I know he finished 12 feet ahead of me.. for what? all that screaming really helped. DOUCHE

So I am part of this study for a new sports drink.

I went in, got my blood work done, did my V02 test. Cool.

Today I got a call from the V02 office and they told me I have to stop the study. I got a copy of the blood work and it looks horrible. Even I can see it. I have no white cells and tons of lymphs. This might be my last cycling year… maybe my last year…

Jokes aside, I feel great. I have had these low levels for some time. Its the same issue and as soon as I got the voicemail i KNEW it!!! He is going to try to tell me i have AIDS.

Tomorrow I will call the doc and see what to do. Maybe its time for a specialist.

How the fuck am I supposed to upgrade!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!!

Ok, I usually don’t put people on the spot, but I went to register for the Ontario race and gave up after I saw what my bill would be.

Granted that I efed up on the late registration, thus i will have to pay late fees (but then again, the cut off was 7 or 8 days before the race, which is also ridiculous cause even some stage races accept re a couple of days before it closes) and I want to do the 1/2/3, Cat 3 and the 30+, so my total would have been $61. Now add gas to that and we are close to hitting $100 for 1 day of racing. Taking into consideration that I will win no prize money so I will take the full hit, I am in for $100/day/racing.

I gotta tell you, that is going to be really hard to swallow. I just got done with my taxes (and maybe this is why i am so pissed off) and seeing how high those entry fees are after having to write uncle sam a check for some big bucks, I am having an even harder time to justify my racing.

Historically the first Ontario are really big races and I understand that they want to cover costs and make money, etc, etc, because that is what I am trying to do, but dang… If I decide to hit all Ontario I will be out close to $600 jut for that series. Add stage races, CBRs, local races and I will be joining Octomom in her misery.

Actually I wish I had 8 kids. It works out to having to pay NO TAXES at all. I know, you have 8 people to take care of, but still, it might be worth it.

Got a good ride in today. Woke up waaay to early. I am still on the SD timezone, so 7am was brutal.

Rode for about 2.5 hours. Basically the same deal. Up and down this 0.5 miles hill on the mountain bike. I think I got close to 4000ft of climbing in that time, which is pretty good, i think. Not good enough, but decent.

I used a HR monitor and progressed my HR levels until it hit 185 on the last climb. Started at 130. And then when i got back, honestly, I was home and getting ready for shower, it starts to rain and it rained for 12 hours straight. it wasn’t crazy much for here, but still, 2 inches of rain is a bit of water.

Now on the Ball. What is going on? I would actually hate to see them go. How is Bahati going to show up at Ontario now? I mean, the circus left town and it sucks. I honestly hope Rock stays, its too good not to go.

Anyway, season is about to get started and i feel like I have done kinda what i had to do. I am going to start by doing Imperial, which is an ABSOLUTE GREAT RACE. I am not joking, the vegetable primes are really good. A teammate won one for me last year, I could not do it on my own. Loser.

Then its VOS. i need to get the nod from the boss, but I think it will be OK. And from there on we will see.

I got word that Adrienne – SDBC rider, wife of Herb (Old man Soledad) got hit by a car and is in pretty bad shape.

What amazes me is that she was riding on a road or spot where I would not imagine something like that can happen. The car was supposedly getting on Torrey Pines road and if it started form a stand still, it had about 10 or 12 ft to accelerate before hitting a cyclist… Wonder if the car did a california stop and just rolled through the sign.

I actually rode past that intersection 30 minutes later and you would have never thought that that happened.

Wish her a fast and complete recovery. Don’t know her, but I know the husband.

Horrible thing to happen.
