burn notice
Posted on August 16, 2009
Last week I caught a glimpse of the lack of motivation to ride. Today it caved in.
I am sitting at a peets coffee (i know, completely ghey) writing this shit up. I woke up tired and suited up for a 3-4 hours ride. I got 20 minutes in and decided that it was time to call it a quits… at least for now/today.
Turned around and went home. 50 minutes of riding and that was it for me.
I think I have hit the bottom in my season. The lack of motivation has hit me and I am not sure I can get out of this funk. Just too many good things coming up done the pipeline.
I am actually pretty happy I called it a day. This will definitely get me into a productive mode and as always I have plenty of stuff to do, but today I plan on actually ticking off a couple of the things from my to-do list. This might be the official of my off-season training and the beginning for next year.
Speaking of next year, I will go ahead and try some sort of training program for the first time. On the list today is also a re-design for next years uniform and some work on CyclingNutz.
