Blood work

Posted on May 16, 2008

This morning I went in for some blood work.

I just need to find out for once and for all if I am doping or not. Nah, I just need to know why it is that I am flattening out after 10 minutes of hard work. I hope there is something that shows up on the exams.

I changed my diet, I am sleeping OK, I am not over-trained, stress levels are OK, I don’t have any sickness that I do not know of (that might change after monday’ results), so not sure what was/is happening. I saw “is” because I did feel much better at Bakersfield and this past week the legs felt great, lots of power and quick recovery.

Started sculling instead of sweeping and the symmetrical pull might help align some kinks that I had in my hips and back. Ever since I have been back to rowing I have swept, so that is 7-8 months of one-side bias workouts. Not sure if it destroyed me, but I am sure it is temporary.

So come monday I will know if there is ANY thing wrong with me. My guess, probably nothing and once again I feel like an idiot going to the doc.
