ATOC – Stage 5

Once again the race of truth earns its name. Good for Levi. Also good for slipstream for getting the other two spots on the podium. Who also did really well was Tom Zirbel. That guy can motor pretty good – I guess the huge frame and weight help his TT.
Tomorrow though, that will be the fireworks stage. To bad I will be riding, but that would be the stage to watch, for sure.
Great race so far. I hope they come back next year with a 10-day race and that they do come down to SD. Let them ride out to the boulevard course and finish up the hill, would be an awesome race.

They could have the final stage or second to last stage be a variation of Swamis long plus Palomar! A queen stage at the end of the race. Imagine the helicopter footage as the scream up wolford? Then on to palomar where there is plenty of room for americans to creat our own little alpe d’huez effect.
I heard a pretty good rumor that the TOC will end in San Diego next year. Qualcomm is sending a marketing team up to Santa Clarita on Sunday to scout out how the hospitality area is set-up/operated. I haven’t heard where the finish will be.
